Anna’s interest in the beauty industry began at an early age. She entered into the professional field with a passion to make people feel good about themselves. The appeal of being able to be creative in day to day work, building close relationships with people, and having to power to decide how far and what direction this industry would take her were also very influential in career choice.

Anna offers a variety of services. She really enjoys hair color, whether it be a touch-up service or challenging corrective color. She also offers hair cutting services to men and women, men’s cuts really are a strong area for Anna. Also preforms waxing and chemistry conditioning services.

Anna attended cosmetology school here in Redding at the Shasta School of Cosmetology. She enrolled through the Regional Occupational Program offered though Foothill High School. Immediately after completing high school she graduated from cosmetology school and has been licensed since July 2006. Anna exclusively uses Redken. She has attended many classes to keep up on the latest technology and trends. The most noteworthy being the Redken Specialist Program consisting of 32 hours of instruction and hands on education on product knowledge, hair color, design (hair cutting), blow dry technique, and styling technique.

She seeks inspiration from many sources, whether it be energy gained from attended a class or seeing a look somewhere that caught her eye. She seeks inspiration in the seasons, new colors the Redken presents, as well as trends showing up in fashion week. She finds it fun and exciting to try something new and add her own spin to it.

Anna defines beauty as a feeling or an attitude, not an appearance. What makes someone truly beautiful is how they carry themselves and treat others, not some unrealistic duplicate of someone in a magazine that someone else has deemed pretty. Beauty is a person who lives their life while staying true to themselves.
